Lancer 2000 Turbo waiting to be reunited with Pentti Airikkala

The actual Lancer 2000 Turbo that Pentti Airikkala took to 3rd place on the Rally of 1000 Lakes, Finland back in 1982. Considering the opposition it was a creditable drive only being beaten by a pair of Audi Quattro’s driven by Hannu Mikkola and Stig Blomqvist. This car is now owned by  Mitsubishi Lancer Register Chairman Darin Frow.

Lancer Evo 6 currently on evaluation with the Police (CCC stand)

This car is currently being evaluated by Essex Police so check your mirrors!. Apparently it is a standard GSR.  This car was used on the day to lead the parade laps.
